reality blurs

the colours blend so flawlessly,

hues captivate and the eyes fall prey

to the mirror that isn’t there,

to their comforted weaknesses,

to the inexplicably addicting;

the hands reach out to grasp those most desirable,

those that aren’t theirs to take,

but no longer is anything distinguishable,

the eyes see with the tingling of the body’s fingertips,

so sweetly it is heard,

so pleasurable it tastes,

and so it all blurs in the end
